Speaking From Experience

I then tried it with a soft pastel colour to see if it would make it more striking and interesting to look at. I finished my tips and steps and also put the logo on the top of the net.

I gave the net a boarder as to just highlight it more and separate it from the flyer to give the impression it comes out.
i then added a small boarder at the top for the heading. it just contains the wording an makes it stand out from the rest. I then added the front of the washing machine just using a simple line design. On the sides i have room for some tips and steps on washing clothes.

I changed the font of the heading to something more simple and then again creating the focus for the word washing i chose to use the original font for just to create more interest compared to the rest of the sentence.
Now i will attempt to put my nets onto a flyer on which the audience can cut out and make. Again keeping the colours black and white for now.

Speaking From Experience

The font i used for this is called Marcelle Script. i like it for this brief as it has hints of the oldskool classic university font.
I attempted to make a identity for my products so i used i lil catch phrase which just gives the impression of "help". i wanted to keep the colour simple so i just chose black and white.

Speaking From Experience

I Then made a washing machine. i felt like this was a sufficient experimenting with my initial designs and i will try and develop them now.
This is the chopping board that i made minus the knives. i just wanted to see if the shape would hold and stand on its own. i used a wood effect for this.

This is the ATM machine that i experimented with. i used a picture of a machine then just a concrete effect to cover the rest. i am pleased with the shape and i will pursue this further.

Here are my developed drawings which i prefer out of the initial ones. i will attempt to make one of each for the crit to give a good idea about what i intend to produce and take further. Here are my ideas about helping with cooking. my favourite idea of the two is the knife holder and feel it would be more impressive to produce.
I like both these ideas for this product and you would be able to collect change in them but i am first going to play around with the ATM

I looked at either making pop us or Nets which you put together and quickly decided on the net idea as a pop up yes is interactive but it doesn't involve the user in producing it. which is the idea i'm going for.

Speaking From Experience

These are my initial drawings for what to create for my project.

Speaking From Experience

What sort of things did your parents do for you before you left for uni.

What have you had to learn to do since starting uni.

Speaking From Experience

So after the initial crit where we talked about out ideas i came away with some helpful tips to work on.
for one my project didn't appeal enough to graphic design students as the brief stated. I also needed to change the title from mummy's boy to something which relates to both male and female.
