Experiments

For this brief i want to experiment with spot colours. Its something i haven't really done before so i wanted to have a go at it. 

These are just a couple of experiments i have done for the brief just almost jotting down what was in my head. 

This first one i took an image a like and experimented with blur to see if i could take the focus away from the half naked girl and make people look at the type then the image after. So i used a tilt shift blur where by it blurs the to and the bottom of the image drawing your eyes to the middle. This is where i have put some bright type. I think it does work for a slipt second you see the typ first but then your eyes go straight for the bum. so i don't think you actually read anything but maybe the massive heading. 

Next i played around with some layout and had this idea of having just 2 colour prints one colour for the images and another fort the text. I really like this idea and i think it will look really nice screen-printed.

I think i am going to develop this idea further.
