You are required to produce a graphics response to your chosen task that engages with a specific audience. Your response should consider the context and environment in which you aim for it to be delivered. You should aim to identify, analyse and use existing means of distributions in order to select an appropriate method of communication.
Chosen task
We were given a list of questions and were asked to pick one to concentrate on. Out of the list as a group we chose a few we liked the sound of. get people to try something new, get people to read more, get people to give more, get people to talk to communicate
We decided to think about each of these further before deciding which one we would choose to answer.
Notes
Get people to read more - Getting people to read more could be a clever one to choose. you could have a slogan saying something like "that wasn't so hard was it" just to show how easy reading is. i don't read at all so if i find it engaging then i'm sure a lot of students are similar to me and would benefit from this.
Get people to talk to communicate - This could be something like an anti Facebook campaign to stop people using social networking sites and talk more like we used to. i feel this would be interesting and there are loads more ideas which surround this.
Get people to try something new - getting people to try something new could go many different ways and it could also be a personal guide to students. As i feel we all want to try something but we are to lazy to do it so we could make it motivational.
Get people to give more - Giving money is a big problem for me, i'm asked a lot to give to charity but i just don't have the money to give away. maybe if we come up with a different way of helping people which doesn't involve moneyWe decided on the task get people to give more based on our initial ideas from our research.
We as a group talked about all our ideas for the questions then decided on our favourite one. we chose to look at "Getting people to give more" as we feel we all have this problem and we decided this would be a good one to try and solve.
The Problem: Looking at mainly students and people with little money who can't afford to give to charity.
We intend to: Show people you don't have to give money there are other things you could do. blood/skills/time/clothes/love etc.
Method of delivery: Posters, mailshots, website, advertisements for an actual event.
Audience: Mainly students
