A to Z illustrator

I then created my font in both upper and lower case to see if captials would work in the font. again it was alot more simpler to create the font in illustrator and the finished product lookes very appealing to the eye.

I created my font but in illustrator. it was quite easy to acchieve the effect that i wanted as i just created the pattern i wanted out of black lines and the made is a swatch and filled the letters with it. i am impressed with the results and which to experiment more with this.

Here is my final finished designs. it was a very time consuming design i had chosen to do due to the block outline and letters and also the measurments for the lines. i am on the other had very impressed with my finished font and feel it suits my partners personallity greatly.

This is the first couple of letters which i had done by hand. they turned out looking good although i found the ink smudged easily so had to be careful i didn't make contact with wet ink.

Freeze Molds

Here is a mold of a large letter F which i created using a card and tape. i submerged it into a water bath and left it to freeze. sadley i was inable to seperate the ice from its mold so i was unable to carry this process on as i ran ouot of time to produce another mold and freeze it.



Here i just froze some small letter F's in ice to see if you would get a disorted view but it didnt work how i wanted it to.

here are just a couple of photographs which i took of ice melting to see how the shape is manipulated and changes. i feel this might help with getting more of an idea of the melting process.

Here i just drew a few letter F's to get a feel for the different way the letter can be formed.

Here i was going to experiment with different ways of creating frozen letters on photoshop.



This idea was to create a mold of a letter and sink it in a tub of water and freezing it, then when frozen remove the excess and the mold and been left with a ice letter.



Here is my idea about freezing drawn letters inside of ice cubes and taking a photographic series of it ass it melts.
